Welcome to Bravo Company!

Bravo Company is Stage Right's performing arts school currently offering youth classes at The Historic Crighton Theatre.

The current lead instructor for Bravo Company - Amy Sowers - also founded and was Executive Director of the Crighton Kidz Performing Arts School for 10 Years. Amy has directed a number of children's productions and served as Assistant Director for Stalag 17 and Roger and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Amy has also served as narrator for The Conroe Symphony Orchestra. She is currently serving as a vice-president of the Montgomery County Performing Arts Society. Amy earned a BA and MA in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston and has been working with children for over 25 years.

Bravo Company is pleased to welcome Tommy Hunter as our new instructor for the 8-12 and 13-17 age groups. Tommy has been actively involved in theatre and acting since 1973, when he performed in his first musical, “Annie Get Your Gun”. Tommy trained with Ms. Ellen Baker-Baltz in the Texas touring company Theatre-On-Wheels from 1976 through 1981. In
1982 Tommy was accepted and trained at The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) located in Houston, where he studied Music and Dance. At Crosby High School, Tommy became the first Crosby student ever to be recognized at the Texas State U.I.L. One-Act Play competition being placed on the “All Star Cast” in 1985. Tommy has directed and choreographed several children’s theatre productions with Lufkin Community Theatre’s Clee Quisenberry and performed with Kingwood Community Theatre and our very own Stage-Right’s productions of “Vaudeville-Finally Comes to the Crighton”, “Lend Me a Tenor” and most recently as Rooster Hannigan in “Annie”.

Tuition is $50.00 per month for one child and $35.00 per month for the second child in a family. Class times: ages 5-7 yrs. on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00 pm, ages 8-12 yrs. on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:30 pm and the teen class is on Thursdays from 5:00-6:30 pm.
