Christmas Cards as a Tradition

A form of Christmas card began in England in the 1840's when young boys practiced their writing skills by creating Christmas greetings for their parents. During the last few years we have gotten out of the habit. Too busy, too stressed. Sound familar?

Then out of the blue we received a greeting card from our favorite authors - Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten. The card brightened our day in two ways: for one, we just love Italy. Italy holds many fond memories for us. Secondly, it reminded us how an unexpected, small gift can change you. Many years ago we were in the habit of random acts of kindness. The card was a reminder of how powerful random acts of kindness can be and that we need to redouble our efforts to spread a little kindness during the holiday season.

See the full greeting card below from Jessie, Nicholas, and Jamie (and not his twin brother Jaime).
