Stage Right will hold auditions for Ira Levin’s southern comedy No Time For Sergeants on June 27 (from 3 – 6 pm) & 28 (from 7 – 10 pm). Callbacks will be held on Tuesday June 29 at 7 pm. The show will be directed by Carolyn Corsano Wong.
Bravo Company, the educational arm of STAGE RIGHT, put on a timeless classic to 1950's music. Just as Hoodwinked updated the story of Little Red Riding Hood with upbeat music, Doo Wop is a similar, witty treatment of the same classic with a twist (pun intended). To see pictures of "sneak peak" night with family and friends, see the gallery.
Performances are on Friday and Saturday (May 13-14). Call the Box Office at 936-441-SHOW (7469) or buy your tickets online!
Bravo Company went to the Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival on April 9-10, 2011.
This weekend was unusually busy as the cast of Harvey was asked to start building their set and work publicity at the Waterway Arts Festival. Elwood was asking patrons if they had seen Harvey. One patron had seen Harvey across the way. Meanwhile, Cinderella and her fairy godmother were entertaining the kids that came to the festival. Even vendors got into the spirit and asked the fairy godmother to bless their stalls so that they would sell everything that day.

Auditions will be held on May 1st and 2nd at the historic Crighton Theatre in downtown Conroe, TX at 7 PM.
The cast and crew of Christmas Belles went to the Outlets at Conroe on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 at 5 PM. The cast performed a few scenes from the show, passed out rack cards for upcoming shows, and pushed the shows coming to the historic Crighton Theatre before the tree lighting ceremony. In this picture Tom Lockhart as the interim pastor Justin Waverly is trying to find away to ask Katt Gilcrease playing Dub Dubberly for his daughter's hand in marriage. Meanwhile, Dub is experiencing pain due to kidney stones.
After the scenes the cast went to Mama Juanita's across the street for some TexMex food.
The date for auditions will be rescheduled. However, if you are interested in the role of Patsy Cline, please forward your resume and an mp3 file with you singing "Crazy" to info@stage-right.org.
Auditions: Oct. 17-18, 2010

Due to the short rehearsal schedule, this show has been classified as a reunion special. Where possible, the original cast has been invited to reprise their roles. At this time the only open roles are Justin Waverly (the preacher) and Twink Futrelle (middle sister).
Geneva Musgrave, 50-60's crusty owner of the town flower shop and the local town gossip. If you want something to be spread easy as melted butter talk to Geneva.
